the after-image builds original theatrical productions stemming from texts and historical events that leave us with unanswered questions. Devising performers and designers generate material and the co-producing artistic directors shape the content and form. Our work, in both process and product, is born from a collective effort of every member of our artistic team. Each collaborator holds a distinct perspective on race, gender, and ability, and these perspectives guide every aspect of our productions.
